With the rapid infrastructure and other developments in Gujranwala, many new malls, brands, and superstores are launching their operations in the city. Chase up and Imtiaz, both are operating in Gujranwala covering large areas and fulfilling the demands of thousands of citizens.
Having visited both the superstores made me write about my personal experience regarding the convenience, advantages, consequences, areas to be improved and the competition
These supermarkets have their features and identities and large numbers of people go to both the places for having their daily needs fulfilled.
Let’s have a look at these stores and analyze which one is best in terms of services, variety, convenience, and other factors.
Chase up
Recently, the chase is opened in Gujranwala at G.T Road. This super store attracted the attention of several people through social media and other marketing strategies. At the time of the opening, a lot of people visited it and shared their experiences.
This supermarket has divided the products between the ground, the 1st, and 2nd floor. There are different sections for customers to choose their necessity easily. Also, the superstore has a large number of products there. Let’s have a look into some important features of Chase up.
In the middle of the city
Location wise Chase up is the best as it is situated in the middle of the city. People from all over the city can easily come. G.T Road, that connects many other cities with Gujranwala, is a busy highway that increases the propensity of Chase up to have a huge number of customers daily. Also, there is a large population in the nearby areas that finds it easy to go to Chase up and shop what they need.
Variety of products
There are separate sections for different products making it easy for Chase up to have a huge variety of the products. On the ground floor, right at the entrance, you find the grocery section from where you can buy confectionaries, eateries or other kitchen items.
The ground floor also has a meat section. Along with the meat section you can see vegetables and fruits. Some fruits that you look for all over the city can easily be found there. There is also a bakery section on the ground floor.
The second floor consists of a huge variety of women fashion, daily care, and other accessories.
You can choose your favorite product from a variety of handbags, clutches, personal care, jewelry, shoes, and cosmetics. Also, kids’ clothing is available on this floor.
The third floor is having gents clothing, shoes, accessories, crockery, electronics, and toys. Such a great number of products allow the buyer to have the best one.

There are enormous products at Chase up of local as well as imported quality. Because of having separate sections and floors for different categories the store can easily manage to have a huge number of products. Cosmetics, eateries, shoes, electronics, and accessories are thousands in number.
Imtiaz
Its been quite some years since Imtiaz has been operating in Gujranwala. Although this superstore is covered the only basement of Kings Mall but offers a large variety of products to a huge number of people. The store has provided greater convenience to people to shop for greater quality and variety of products under one roof. Some of the important features of Imtiaz are as follows.
Focus on grocery
The main focus of Imtiaz is on the grocery. A huge part of this supermarket is containing products related to grocery and daily use.
Billing setup
The billing setup of Imtiaz is of greater convenience for the customers. At the jewelry and cosmetic section, there are separate points of sales making it easy for people to pay their amount. Also, for grocery billing, there are several counters where vigilant staff provides fast billing services.
Reasonable prices
Imtiaz offers reasonable prices for different products. Sometimes the prices are high because of the quality of the products. Some greatest quality products are highly-priced. Otherwise, some local and international products are displayed at low prices. You can buy kids’ garments, ladies’ apparel, jewelry, and some other products with good quality that are not so expensive.
Large variety
A variety of products is best at Imtiaz. Imported and local products make it best for the buyer to select from quality products. Though Imtiaz Gujranwala only covers the basement of the mall but manages well to have the best products.
Better services
Imtiaz focuses on providing the best of the services to the customers. At every aisle, you will have a person just to guide you about the products and find the one you need.
Parking area
The best thing about Imtiaz is that it has the best parking area. You do not have to worry about the parking of your vehicles as a huge area of parking resolves this problem of yours. This is the reason that people think it is convenient for visiting Imtiaz.
Comparison of both
Comparing these superstores with each other makes it easy to analyze that which one is best. Some of the points of comparison are as under.
⦁ Imtiaz is good because it has a parking area and people do not have to worry about parking in their vehicles. Chase up is not having its parking and making it difficult for people to easily park their cars etc.
⦁ At Imtiaz, billing counters and produce aisles are separated. On one side you will find the product aisles while the counters are on the other end. On the contrary, at Chas up some of the billing counters are right next to the product sections.
⦁ Staff at Imtiaz is efficient and takes care of the customers. While staff at Chase up takes much time for billing of products and sometimes not so efficient in guiding the customers.
⦁ Of we compare the variety of products, then Imtiaz has a plus point in this regard. This super market’s quality is best while Chase up lacks a little bit in fulfilling local needs.

Because of the many malls, superstore and other projects competition in Gujranwala is getting higher and higher. Imtiaz and Chase up can face strict competition in the future.
Rana Umer store
Rana Umer store is expanding its branches in Gujranwala. Although, currently this store does not have that number and variety of products which Chase up and Imtiaz possess but in future there are chances that Rana Umer store will have a setup of a similar kind
Sixteenth avenue mall
This mall is opening soon in Gujranwala. Chances are there that Sixteenth avenue mall may have a grocery section. Otherwise, in the form of brands and quality, it would be greater competition.
City center
Covering a huge area, this market will be a huge and strict competition in the future. City Centre is expected to have grocery stores, brands and other necessities to attract a huge number of customers.
